Bank Staff Lecturers - School of Construction


The School of Construction currently requires highly motivated individuals to support excellence in learning within the fields of;

  ·   NC/HNC Construction  ·     Floristry  

  ·     Horticulture                  ·     Painting & Decorating  

You will prepare and deliver teaching materials and work with others to develop new approaches to teaching, making optimum use of learning technologies. You will work closely with Senior Lecturers and the Head of Curriculum to provide high quality learning and assessment opportunities that will enhance learning and teaching with a strong learner focus within the School.  

You will be educated to SCQF Level 8 or have relevant professional equivalent in the specialist area, or significant relevant experience. As an academic member of staff of Glasgow Clyde College, you will aid excellence in learning through the preparation and delivery of high quality learning, teaching and assessment materials, and by supporting learners.  

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, work to their own initiative and relate well to student groups. With excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to work under pressure, candidates must have a flexible and can do attitude to work and be qualified in their preferred subject area.  

A Disclosure Scotland PVG Check will be required for successful candidates.

Salary:                        £30,584 - £38,341 pro rata, per annum
