Glasgow Clyde College is seeking support from existing and new corporate sponsors to maintain and develop the top-class provision for which the College is known. Sponsorship contributions help to ensure that our students continue to benefit from the wide range of additional resources and experiences currently on offer to them. You may also wish to associate your business with supporting young people, education and enterprise.
We can help promote your corporate identity in a number of ways. By having your logo and company name displayed prominently within the College, on our website and social media accounts or at one of our events, many opportunities allow you to raise awareness of your brand. We will ensure your sponsorship contribution offers best value and raises the profile of your business.
What can I sponsor?
You can sponsor anything from a small contribution to the student hardship fund to a larger sponsorship arrangement, for example sponsorship of the Graduation and Awards Ceremony or sponsoring a lecture theatre or student café. Sponsorship can be in the form of financial contribution, provision of equipment and materials or the provision of specialist speakers to enhance student learning experiences.
Some of the possibilities are:
Higher National (HN) Graduation Ceremony – an annual event in November which has more than 2500 participants in a city-centre venue
National Qualifications (NQ) Ceremonies and Prizegivings – three events in June with more than 2500 participants based at our Anniesland campus
Board Fellowship Dinner – an annual event in March involving senior figures from a range of regional and national stakeholders
Creative Industries Events – a number of high-profile events in May and June covering Fashion and Textiles, Art and Design, Jewellery, Graphic Design, Music, Dance and Performing Arts.
Hair and Beauty Salons
Construction and Engineering Workshops
Performing Arts Theatre
Student Social Spaces
College programmes Some sponsors choose to sponsor specific programmes at the College which are linked directly to their business. There are a very wide range of programmes which means for most sectors of industry there will be an appropriate opportunity.
Student Hardship Fund
Some sponsors wish to contribute to the student hardship fund which allows the College to support students through difficult times in order to maintain them on their courses whilst they have difficult personal circumstances to deal with.
