STEM Assured status for Glasgow Clyde College

STEM Assured Status

Glasgow Clyde College is pleased to announce that it has recently achieved STEM Assured® status.

This award is a shining example of the great work the College is doing in furthering the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

The STEM Assured® standard recognises excellence in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) provision within the Further Education sector, with a particular focus on industry relevance and embedding STEM skills across a range of learning areas. This award recognises the great work the College does working with employers.

The New Engineering Foundation (NEF), which created and manages STEM Assured®, focuses on improving vocational education through research, professional development, partnerships and organisational transformation.

STEM Assured® is the standard for assuring the quality of delivery of STEM education and training. It is an outcomes-based standard, driven by the need to assure a more coherent strategy for the development and delivery of STEM education and training that addresses industry requirements for skills.

Tomorrow sees the Glasgow-wide STEM event at the Royal Concert Hall from 10 am. You can still register on the eventbrite page.

Glasgow Clyde College will post photos from the event and prepare a post-event summary.
