Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Issues listed here
- Across all main pages, such as the Home page and the Accessibility page, when hovering over the dropdown menu with a mouse it is not possible to dismiss the dropdown navigation using a keyboard.
- On the User Registration - Apply for a course form page, form fields that collect personal details such as Forename and Surname do not have autocomplete on them.
- On the User Registration - Apply for a course form page, keyboard focus doesn’t follow a logical order, for example it tabs from forename label to surname label and bypasses the relevant input fields which are accessible later on in the tab order.
The content is not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
Issues with images, video and audio
- Some legacy video content does not have captions.
- Live video streams do not have captions.
We don’t as yet plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations
