This 8-week DIY course is an advanced level following on from the DIY at Home course that we also offer. Completion of DIY Level 1 is not mandatory to attend this course.

What will I learn?
The main DIY skills you'll learn in this course are:
- How to plan out decking and layout
- How to plan out laminate flooring
- How to fit mortise lock and fit hinges
- How to fit skirting and facings
- Different fixing used in plasterboard, how to fix into brick. Making small cupboards to go over an electrical box
- Basics in fitting kitchen units
- Using power tools and sharpening chisels
