Climate Change Reporting
The Public Body Climate Change Duty Reports provide a comprehensive baseline for calculating the carbon footprint of each academic year. Glasgow Clyde College has accounted for all energy consumption and water usage associated with its campuses. Additionally, the College has undertaken a thorough measurement of carbon emissions resulting from staff and student commuting, staff business travel, its vehicle fleet, and taxi usage.
In accordance with the annual mandate for all public bodies, Glasgow Clyde College submits its Climate Change Report to the Scottish Government. This report not only fulfils statutory requirements but also underscores the College's commitment to environmental sustainability and proactive efforts in monitoring and reducing its environmental impact.
