This introduction to welding course will equip first time welders with the fundamental knowledge and skills to weld.

It is a blend of practical and theoretical training and will provide information on the most commonly used welding processes (MIG/MAG, MMA and TIG).

MIG/MAG (Metal Inert Gas/Metal Active Gas) welding is a gas metal arc welding process where an electric arc forms between a consumable wire electrode and the work piece, creating a weld pool that fuses the materials. It is the most common and easiest welding process to learn. A variety of materials and thicknesses can be joined using this process.

This course is perfect if you are a complete beginner or have limited welding knowledge and want to learn a new skill.
