This four hour/ half day session is an awareness course for those working in confined spaces.
The course is suitable for managers and personnel responsible for working in or associated with confined spaces.
What will I learn?
The Confined Space Awareness course will cover:
- Definition of a confined space
- Examples of confined spaces
- Confined space dangers and control measures
- Safe systems of work
- Emergency procedures
- Case studies
- Overview of relevant legislation
This course is NOT confined space entry training. This is carried out separately by technical specialists and must be undertaken before personnel may enter a confined space. This confined space awareness course is a suitable preparatory measure.
