Our Introduction to Environmental Management course is a four hour/ half day session covering the importance and benefits of good environmental management.

This course is suitable for those responsible for managing industry-specific environmental matters.

What will I learn?

The Introduction to Environmental Management course will cover:

  • Importance and benefits of good environmental stewardship
  • Identification and control of industry-specific environmental aspects and their impacts
  • Setting out environmental objectives
  • Waste, energy and water management
  • Preparation of an environmental policy
  • Legislative background
  • Introduction to ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental management systems)
