LGBT Charter
Glasgow Clyde College Student Association (GCCSA) has been successfully awarded the LGBT Silver Charter, an accolade only four Scottish colleges now currently hold. The LGBT Charter is a programme that enables Glasgow Clyde College to actively show support for the LGBT community. Glasgow Clyde College Student Association pride ourselves on being inclusive and diverse. More details can be found here.
GCCSA first signed up to take part in charter in February 2021, see our launch on the college website here. The team were then presented with the charter award in October 2022, see our celebration on the website here.
Both the Student Association and the college were delighted with this award but the work doesn't stop now, we plan to continue to work on the charter areas to ensure that we are continuously improving the college and raising awareness.
Every year, GCCSA take part in supporting Rainbow Laces Day, LGBT History Month, Purple Friday and Pride Month. If you have ideas for other ways we can support or things that we can get involved in, then please let us know.
