Piping technique is the art of using frosting, icing, or other edible materials to create decorative designs on cakes, cupcakes, and pastries. This art is a cornerstone of decorative baking, completely transforming a simple bake into a stunning masterpiece within a few strokes.

This Cake decorating - piping masterclass will help take your cake decorating skills to the next level. It is suitable for those that have completed the beginners cake decorating course or for anyone who has experience and looking to improve their skills.

What will I learn?

You'll be  taught a variety of techniques and fun effects to achieve different  piping styles using a variety of nozzles. These nozzles or  tips are found in several shapes, each designed to get a specific texture or effect.

Techniques used may include but are not limited to

  • Floral designs (Including cupcake bouquet)
  • Piping Roses and Rosettes
  • Piping Leaves
  • Rainbow piping
  • Two tone piping 
  • Border designs

Classes will be  full of tips, tricks and invaluable advice as we work together to produce beautiful edible art.

Please note: There is no baking component to this course, only decoration.  You'll bake your cakes at home prior to class

Recipes will be issued prior to starting including an email detailing materials/equipment required for the course

Instruction will be given with a step-by-step process on the day
