GAS SAFE REGISTERED? LESS THAN 12 MONTHS CERTIFICATION BUT NEED TO EXTEND SCOPE?
The BPEC Domestic Gas (RPL Bridge) is designed for Gas Safe Registered operatives who wish to extend their scope of Natural Domestic Gas appliances but have less than 12 months CCN1 certification.
What will I learn?
Natural Domestic Gas appliances available under the RPL Bridge:
- HTR1 - Fires
- CKR1 - Cookers
- CENWAT - Boilers/Heaters
A BPEC issued worklog is used to record onsite experience and, where required, Realistic Work Environment evidence. The required amount of on-site evidence is taken from the current Domestic Natural Gas Training Specification.
Entry requirements (minimum)
Candidates must have:
- ACS Domestic CCN1 certificate (with an issue date of less than 12 months)
- Gas Safe Registration
Additionally, candidates require a technical interview to determine what training and experience gaps exist and agree an appopriate RPL Bridge route.
Jobs and further study
Upon successful completion of the training candidates will undertake the relevant ACS assessments.
