You provide your own materials for this course. For your first class you must bring:

Please note: This course is for beginners only. If you already have some experience, please consider our Dressmaking - Mixed Level course.

Comments from previous students:

"Very useful to have a one to one with tutor to learn about my pattern and learning different aspects of sewing for dressmaking."

"Amazing tutor. Very attentive with lots of helpful tips."

Entry requirements (minimum)

  1. You must be able to use a sewing machine. If you don't have this skill, please consider our Basic Sewing course first.
  2. While you'll have the use of sewing machines during this course, having the use of one outside of the classrom is advantageous to practise the skills and techniques learned each week. This allows you to maximise your time during the 8 week course.
