The Developing Customer Excellence course will develop, enhance and refresh your customer facing skills.

What will I learn?

The course will cover:

  • Customer Excellence Skills
    This session is designed for those who want to upskill their customer service skills or those who are looking to refresh and develop their existing skills. It explores the importance of uniformity and consistency, customer expectations and dealing with difficult situations. 
  • Upselling/Cross Selling
    This session will look at how to upsell and cross sell products and services.
  • Service Across Cultures
    This session will cover understanding differences in cultures and communicating effectively with different cultures.
  • Serving Vulnerable Customers
    This session will give you strategies to support vulnerable customers either over the telephone or face to face.
  • Dealing with challenging situations
    This session will cover understanding the nature of difficult conversations and components, as well as influencing people and the language of influence.

This course will be delivered on Teams in three online sessions of three hours each.  The course will be deliver on 3 Wednesdays - 6, 13 and 20 November, 9.30am-12.30 each week.

All materials are supplied by the College and will be available online.
