This Hidden Disabilities course aims to raise awareness of disabilities which may not be visible but can have a major impact on people's lives. This half-day course aims to create a space for exploring Hidden Disabilities while raising awareness of their potential impact on individuals in both the workplace and everyday life.
What will I learn?
This Hidden Disabilities course will cover:
- The meaning of Hidden Disabilities
- Common Hidden Disabilities
- The impact of a Hidden Disability on the individual
- The impact of a Hidden Disability in the workplace
- Positive disclosure of Hidden Disabilities
- Communicating effectively about Hidden Disabilities
This course will be delivered on Teams in one online session of three hours.
All materials are supplied by the College and will be available online.
