Keeping Calm is for anyone who deals with challenging individuals on the phone, in writing and face to face. You will learn about emotions and how to stay in control when dealing with challenging people.

What will I learn?

This Keeping Calm course will cover:

  • Understanding emotions  
  • Understand how our emotions and thoughts impacts our behaviours 
  • Strategies and techniques for staying in control and keeping calm when dealing with aggressive or abusive customers. 
     

This course will be delivered on Teams in one online session of three hours.

All materials are supplied by the College and will be available online.

Entry requirements (minimum)

There is no formal entry requirements, however, you will be required to have your camera on and participate in group discussions.
