This Mental Health for Managers course has been designed to support managers in identifying signs and symptoms that someone may be experiencing mental health problems. It will help you to develop and improve your listening skills, and also covers how to record any concerns raised by employees and refer them on to mental health support services for professional guidance.
What will I learn?
This Mental Health for Managers course will cover:
- some of the more common mental health issues in the workplace
- reducing stigma and discrimination
- position mental health with regards to law and equality in the workplace
- explore how to engage with those who may need support.
This course will be delivered on Teams in one online session of three hours.
All materials are supplied by the College and will be available online.

Entry requirements (minimum)
There is no formal entry requirements, however, you will be required to have your camera on and participate in group discussions.
