This intermediate welding course is a follow on from our beginner course. This will build the fundamental knowledge and skills learned previously and provide you with the ability to perform single side welding with full penetration.
This course is perfect in developing your MIG/MAG Welding knowledge. It is a blend of practical and theoretical training and will provide information on the most commonly used welding process. (MIG/MAG)

Who is this course for?
This course is designed for individuals who can already perform MIG/MAG welding to a basic standard and are eager to enhance their MIG/MAG welding skills with confidence.
Course Outline:
The following is covered for each welding process:
Joint types and configurations
Welding set controls
Set up and preparation for welding
Tutored welding practice
Testing of welded joints
Recording data on a Welding Procedure Specification
The main material type used in the course will be 3mm and 6mm low carbon steel and Aluminium. (included in your course fee). If you have a specific project in mind, you may prefer to bring your own materials to use.
You will require fire resistant overalls and steel toe capped boots/shoes for this course (these can be supplied at an extra cost) all other PPE will be provided.
