Glasgow Clyde College's BPEC Carbon Monoxide Testing course is designed for gas engineers who require to assess levels of carbon monoxide (CO) and the presence of carbon dioxide (CO2) in domestic properties.

Available as a stand-alone course subject to availability.

What will I learn?

This course provides training and assessment associated with CO and CO2 testing and combustion performance analysis; using electronic portable gas analysers on domestic gas appliances in dwellings.

This analysis is usually conducted on identification of the indication of fumes, smells, spillages, leakages and the activation of a carbon monoxide detector.

CMDDA1 is available stand alone or as part of the College's BPEC ACS - Domestic Gas Course package.

Entry requirements (minimum)

Operatives must hold a current Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) qualification to enrol on this course.

Employer and industry links

BPEC is the British Plumbing Employment Council which is an industry-leading specialised provider of Building Services Engineering (BSE) sector qualifications, assessments and training courses via a network of accredited colleges, private training centres and industry stakeholders.
