Described as the ‘MBA for the Spa and Beauty Industry’, it gives you the tools to succeed by combining advanced technical skills with robust business knowledge tailored specifically for the nuances of the spa and salon world.

By successfully completing this course, you'll gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become an effective leader, drive business growth, and contribute to the advancement of the spa and salon industry. 

Entry requirements (minimum)

  • Qualified Therapists to S/NVQ level 3 or HNC Beauty Therapy with the following SVQ units:
    • H5XP 04 Lead Your Team 7 9
    • HA9V 04 Manage People’s Performance at Work 7 14
    • H8H2 04 Provide Healthy, Safe, Secure and Productive Working Environments and Practices
    • or CMI (Chartered Management Institute) Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Management and Leadership; OR
  • HND Beauty Therapy; OR
  • Spa professionals who are managing or working towards managing their own spa who have at least 5 year’s spa experience or equivalent industry experience comprising of supervisory skills at SCQF level 8 and practical skills in either facial or body treatments at a minimum of SCQF level 6/ S/NVQ level 2.
  • You must also have excellent communication skills and be currently employed in the spa or beauty industry with the ability to work or gain experience in a supervisory position.
