Millinery students take part in fundraising Hat Walk

Millinery students past and present put their thinking caps on to help at a recent charity ‘Hat Walk’. Lead by East Renfrewshire’s u3a Fashion Through the Ages member Sylvia Levitus, Glasgow Clyde College students and alumni donned their own creations at the afternoon tea fundraising event in Clarkston Hall.

Glasgow Clyde College Millinery lecturer Shona Crozer helped to coordinate the event said: “The students did incredibly well that day and entered into the spirit of things with such good humour. Some of them even taking a day off work to take part.  It was a huge success with over £4,500 being raised for the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.”
