BSL Plan Engagement Meeting with HE and FE
Public bodies in Scotland need to develop British Sign Language (BSL) plans. These need to mirror the principles of the National Plan which was published in October 2017 by the Scottish Government (available on the Scottish Government website under BSL National Plan).

The Colleges and Universities in Glasgow and the West are working together to engage BSL speakers, and communities including BSL/English Interpreters, parents/carers of Deaf children and young people, about all aspects of post school education.
The organisations involved are:
- City of Glasgow College
- Glasgow Clyde College
- Glasgow Kelvin College
- Glasgow School of Art
- Glasgow Caledonian University
- Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
- University of Glasgow
- University of Strathclyde
- University of the West of Scotland
BSL Plan Engagement Meeting with HE and FE will take place on Saturday 25th August 2018 10am-12pm at Deaf Connections, 100 Norfolk Street Glasgow
You can come for as long as you like, and meet various members of staff from all the involved organisations, to tell them what you think.
Your feedback at this event will help us to draft our local BSL action plans, which we are publishing in order improve the student and staff experience in Glasgow.
