Floristry Industry Awards

The floristry department here at Glasgow Clyde college has been well established for over 25 years. During this time, we have been recognised as the lead floristry provider for the West of Scotland and beyond.

In recent years the department has been steadily expanding following excellent enrolment and successful achievements. Success for the 3rd year running at Trades House and the Craftex competition both in the advanced and non-advanced categories

2018 sees the first of our Technical qualifications launched, linking College and industry professionals closer together. In June we hosted the first of our open evenings with 80 attendees, bringing the floristry community together for a selection of free workshops which included Social media and Photography and an opportunity for all to see for themselves our student’s practical skills.

The buzz around this department is continuing with our nomination for the
British florist’s association industry star awards.
