Glasgow Clyde College offers you a range of full-time and part-time fashion and textiles courses, from NC to HND and associate Degree level. We are the only Scottish institution to deliver HND Fashion Design and HND Fashion Technology.

The department has impressive alumni. For over 30 years, our dedicated and experienced staff have helped shape the careers of many leading fashion talents including Tammy Kane (Business partner Christopher Kane), Kyle Spires (Calvin Klein), Rachel Eustace (Designer H&M), Marianne Callaghan (Designer Top Man), Charlotte Helyar (Design Director Coach), Katie Roberts Wood (own label available at Dover Street Market), Katie Fairfull (Weave Designer for Transcal) and Shivani Lal (fashion editor Luxor Magazine) to name a few.
Industry and employer links
You'll benefit from the School of Fashion and Textiles at Glasgow Clyde College's strong links with industry. Our students regularly work on innovative and challenging live projects. Recent collaborations include Bute Fabrics, Voyage Decoration, Beggs of Scotland, Forty Clothing, Turnberry Rugs, Pollok House, Kestin Hare and Oxfam.
The School also works closely with partners to deliver in-house textile training, including Modern Apprenticeships as well as leading the Future Textiles programme delivered at Dumfries House.

Associate Programme
We work closely with Heriot-Watt University to deliver Associate places for students in Textiles, Fashion Design, Fashion Communications and Fashion Technology.
We are now in our fifth year of this Associate partnership and we have seen the numbers grow due to the success and hard work of the partner institutes and the students that have been part of the programme.

Each programme of study is directly linked to a year 3 pathway at Heriot-Watt University. You will be dual enrolled at both institutes and will be based at the Cardonald Campus of Glasgow Clyde College for the first two years of your course and will follow an HND programme focusing on your chosen discipline. At the end of year 2, on successful completion of your course, you will transfer to Heriot-Watt University, Scottish Borders Campus, to complete years 3 and 4 of your Hons degree, where you will continue to study in your chosen discipline.
