Did you know, we are currently the only college in Scotland offering millinery courses? We have excellent millinery facilities, with a large and varied block library for students to use!

This 12- week course is a stand-alone course into the world of millinery trims, where you will learn the creative skills and secrets required to make trims, using both traditional and non-traditional methods.

It is suitable for students who have no previous millinery experience, or for students who have completed a previous introduction course.

What will I learn?

The course will allow you to experiment with a range of millinery techniques through a series of demonstrations and workshops, where you will be encouraged to explore both traditional and non-traditional millinery materials.

You will be looking at using materials similar to those that you see adorning hats at famous race day meetings like Royal Ascot , and weddings that are in the media -
