Exam or Assessment Support
Many students require alternative assessment arrangements to make sure they're given an equal opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding, without the effects of their disability or learning difficulty impacting on their performance.
Examples of alternative assessment arrangements include:
- Extra time
- Separate or quiet room
- Reader
- Scribe
- Use of technology, laptop etc.
- Adapted materials
- Rest breaks.
Please note that additional exam arrangements can only be put in place for students who have registered with the Learning Inclusion team, who have had their needs assessed, and have provided us with medical documentation.
